Thirteen superlative East Islip student-musicians were recently selected to attend the Long Island String Festival Association’s annual ensemble festival alongside the other top orchestra students from Suffolk County.

EIHS will contend again for the Suffolk County championship this Friday after beating North Babylon 38-12 in the Suffolk Division II football semifinals on Nov. 15.
