Dear Parents and Students,
June has arrived and the 2008-09 school year is coming to an end. Good luck to all on your exams and have a fun summer. If you find a moment, check the website again in July for a slide show of pictures from this past school year.
Seniors, the Class of 2009, you have left your mark on East Islip High School - thank you. On behalf of all of us here, good luck, be safe, and remember to follow your dreams. Juniors, Sophomores, and Freshmen, it is up to you to make high school a great experience - make wise choices and make the most of your years here.
Mrs. Renderos, Mrs. McKinney, Dr. Hiller, and Mrs. Cooley, we would like to thank you for the many, many years of service as educators in East Islip and for touching so many hearts and minds. Best wishes for a happy and healthy retirement.
The time has come for me to also say goodbye. Thank you to all for your kind words of thanks and well wishes. It has been an honor to work in the East Islip Schools. I have learned so much, made wonderful friends, and watched so many children blossom. Education is the most precious gift we have to offer - it needs to be treasured.
